We are thrilled to announce that we’ve just experienced another great event, this time in Istanbul! Here’s a recap into some local insights that were shared at the event.

Bengi Kepkep from Garanti Odeme Sistemleri, Tunca Meriç from Global Bilgi, Alper Ceylan from Vestel, Esat Dumlupınar, and Murat Genç from P&G joined us for a speaker session and panel discussion. Each shared their experiences in social media and offered insights into developing marketing strategies.

Local Insights from Turkey:

  • Turkish brands post, on average, less than worldwide brands.
  • Photos are the most popular Facebook post type by Turkish brands and most shared by their users.
  • Turkcell, Avea, Volkswagen Türkiye, Nokia Türkiye, and Garanti Bankası are the top five most popular Turkish brands, according to Facebook’s Local Fan Count.
  • Turkcell, Samsung Türkiye, Avea, Trendyol, and Markafoni are the top five Socially Devoted brands on Facebook.
