Founded in 1886 as a parquet flooring company by Samuel Curtis Johnson the first example of innovation was recognising a need for a specially formulated product to care for the parquet floors, Johnson’s Prepared Paste Wax.
More than 115 years later the company is still owned and managed by the Johnson family and has a presence in over 70 countries around the world.
Fully owned by S.C. Johnson & Son Inc. the Turkish subsidiary, Johnson Wax A.S., started to operate in Turkey on November 20th. 1985 with a head office in Istanbul, and three additional regional offices outside of Istanbul.
