With each passing day, we get a little closer to Engage London 2014! While we anxiously count down the days to April 30th, let’s get to know some of our featured speakers a little better.
From AO.com, Head of Brand and Social Strategy Yossi Erdman! In the last three years, he has turned an online kitchen retailer with sparse fans into one of the most prominent brands on social in the UK. Erdman will walk you through how he used the power of sociability on social to turn an e-commerce site into a personable, engaging source of content.
Robertjan Groeneveld, Social Media Hub Manager at socially devoted superstars KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, will also be taking the stage at Engage London 2014. KLM is the customer support darling of not just the Airline Industry, but the whole social marketing world. Groeneveld will talk about how KLM has had 250% Year over Year growth, an accomplishment he credits in large part to a favorite company mantra: “Service stays.”

Lenovo’s Rod Strother, the Director of the Digital and Social Centre of Excellence, is coming to Engage London 2014 all the way from Singapore. Rod began his career working with British Gas Scotland, and has since helped brands to market better and more directly in industries as varied as finance, insurance, and automotive production. Last year, he was recognized as one of the world’s Top 20 Digital Marketers by the CMO Council. At Engage, he’ll be talking about how he helps Lenovo create stellar content using insight from Socialbakers Analytics, and how our tools help his team with in-house reporting as well.

Sam Wilson from South Africa’s Woolworths is a digital editor with a story to share. She’ll be imparting the lessons Woolworth’s learned about how to succeed on social in the immediate aftermath of a major event, including getting five million people to perform on a company-sponsored flash mob, in a talk called Socially Devoted: Beneath the Surface.
From Google +, Social Strategist Beth Foster! She’ll talk about how G+ can unify your brand’s presence across the web, creating a stream of tied information for fans to find. With +Post Ads, brands will be able to use their G+ pages to advertise on websites users find via Google Search – at Engage, Beth will talk about how that works, why it will help marketers succeed, and maybe will even tell the stories of a company or two for whom it has already worked!
