Desigual, Emirates, Rolls-Royce, Magnum, STC, and Telkomsel - these were the first place winners at our Engage Prague 2016 Awards Ceremony. We hosted our 2nd Engage Awards ceremony to celebrate outstanding global social media performance and digital advertising from 2015.
Socialbakers Engage events have spanned the world, gathering social media marketing professionals all over. Last year, we brought our flagship event back to our hometown of Prague, and ended our Engage Awards Ceremony with a bang! We kicked it up a notch again this year, honoring the very best of social media marketing from 2015.
Being a true social brand goes beyond creating great content and executing effective social customer care. It means putting customers at the center of digital experiences and engaging with them. That’s why we created an award to recognize all-around social media excellence.
Desigual radiates passion through their company message across social media, and inspires us all to take branded content to new heights. They’ve successfully become one of the most engaging fashion brands on Facebook with 5x more interactions than the global fashion industry average. Desigual has taken their social media to the catwalk and behind the scenes at NYFW, offering unique digital experiences for their audiences with real-time marketing strategies.
We awarded Emirates for executing an amazing integrated digital and social campaign. Last year, Emirates premiered the “Being There” campaign, which has since become the most successful Facebook campaign ever launched by a travel brand. The campaign reached 136 million people, accruing over 60 million videos views on Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram, and 50 million impressions on Twitter.
Social customer care is not a fad. It’s an expectation. And Telkomsel Indonesia is doing it right – they answered 99% of over 145,000 customer questions within 13 minutes or less on Facebook during 2015!

Saudi Arabia Telecom Company
(STC) embodies the best of Twitter’s customer care capabilities, showing the world how powerful social customer care can be. STC responded to 97% of the more than 268,000 questions they received on Twitter, all within 34 minutes or less!
Runners-up for Twitter: Telkom Care Indonesia, Telkomsel Indonesia
The biggest challenge faced by content creators today is telling captivating stories to connect with the right audiences. Out of the top 1,000 brand Pages on Facebook we analyzed for this award, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars drove the most success by earning the largest share of interactions for organic posts.
Runners-up: BMW, Jordan
Social media advertising requires an intelligent paid content strategy to connect with the right audiences at the right times. Magnum Indonesia outperformed the competition with a data-driven paid content strategy that resulted in achieving an average of 7.4x more interactions than their organic posts.
