Go-Jek is Indonesia’s leading transport, delivery and payments startup which performs all services on a motorbike. The startup made headlines in August when they received $550 million in a second round of funding and a valuation of $1.3 billion, making them one of the region’s few unicorns. This is even more impressive considering the company was founded in 2010 and explains why they face competition from Uber, Grab and Lazda.

Over the years, the company has expanded to provide a dozen other services, such as GoTix, GoMassage, GoClean and GoSend, allowing for fast and efficient transportation across the country’s busy cities. In 2015, they introduced a mobile booking application, which went on to receive over 20 million booking requests.
