Legeceasterscir, or Cheshire as the land's now known, is my homeland and the place I love greatly. I'm fortunate and thus proud to live here and want to share this passion. England, Scotland, Wales and all of Ireland are each united in that they have age-old traditions and awe-inspiring heritages; we should be proud of our local achievements and not seek to instill hate or abuse on anyone who calls this utterly wonderful land, their home. I absolutely loathe what the government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain is doing to our sense of pride, in that being patriotic now seems to go hand-in-hand with being somewhat racist against people of the Muslim faith (in general society), including foreigners outside of the Commonwealth (I've come to have this opinion because of the support for the BNP and EDL, and public opinion in general). I simply don't believe we should allow this to continue, we all as people of our own local communities should stand up to both the government of which has betrayed us, and the people who seek to deceive us, which drives us away from our faith in unity. Being cautious and in some respects fearful of change to things we hold dear, of course, is historically normal; let's not have it be the undoing of us, though.
Our great history should be followed only be our great future, and that depends on everyone accepting certain changes, and even making some themselves. However the governments act in trying to unify us with Europe and dissolve national pride is wrong, don't accept this lying down! Of course, we all make mistakes from time-to-time however take note of this, nearly all of our consumed food and worn clothing, oiled machinery and driven vehicle, comes from across the shore; orcs to our land and enemy to our local population. Capitalism has destroyed our value, and worth in what's English (Scottish, Welsh, Irish and English). We need to buy local produce, even clothing where available (how disgraceful that I have to accept the lack of availability for homemade clothing). I myself am training to become an Engineer, and sure I'll be working with earnest foreign folk of whom I have no issue, however I shall die with the knowledge and pride in being a Cestrian from Legeceasterscir in England.
We as British Citizens should be proud in the knowledge, that throughout the world we're regarded as one of (if not the most) successful and respected culmination of people, whom are free and equally united in being true to themselves and our individual histories; what an island hey, what a place to call home.
God bless old Blighty.
