Last week, we published a list of the Top 10 Best Facebook Photos from brands. This time we decided to broaden our parameters by selecting the most interesting Facebook photos not only from brands, but from celebrities, popular people and common Fan Pages as well. In this article, you will find the selection of the Top 10 Most Interesting Facebook photos you might have seen in your news feeds from last week. We hope you enjoy it!
Last week, Barack Obama was reelected as the president of the United States of America. Not only did he win the presidential election, but he also broke a record of the most 'liked’ photo on Facebook. This photo of him and his wife now has over 4.4 million likes, which makes it the #1 photo in the history of Facebook.
It seems like there is one type of post that works for all – a photo of a puppy or a cat. This photo is just another example of how successful such a photo can be. Even though it is a fan page about Dogs and they published a completely irrelevant photo of a very cute puppy, it has 130,119 likes to date, which is a lot for a fan page like this one.
This photo, on the other hand, is an excellent photo of Barack Obama with a very smart caption: "Look me in my face I ain’t got no worries.” This was published by Lil Wayne on his Facebook Page. Lil Wayne intended to encourage his fellow-American fans to vote for Obama in the presidential elections. Now a week later, we can say that this encouragement has been worthwhile and maybe even this photo has persuaded some people to vote for Barack Obama. What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
Last month, Derrick Rose, of the Chicago Bulls, welcomed a son with his girlfriend, Mieke Riese. Last week, he posted a photo of him holding his son to his Facebook Page, which created quite a buzz with more than 300 thousand likes. Congratulations to Derrick and Mieke!
Cristiano Ronaldo – there is probably no need to introduce this successful and renowned football player. Last week, he published a photo on his Facebook page capturing him playing the drums and smiling. It wouldn’t be Cristiano if this photo wouldn’t be one of the most liked photos. With his 50+ million fans, almost half a million of them liked this photo. Good job!
Along with Lil Wayne encouraging his fans to vote for Barack Obama in the presidential elections, so did Obama’s wife – Michelle. On her Facebook Page, which has almost 9 million likes, she posted a photo of her and her husband, probably from the year when they were married, captioning the photo with words: "She voted for him the same reason she married him – his character.” The photo itself got almost 400 thousands likes, which is quite impressive considering her smaller fan base on Facebook in comparison with others in our list.
Do you know what you have to do when you find Sheldon Cooper sick in his bed? Those of you watching the television series, The Big Bang Theory, already know the answer to this question – you would have to sing him the song "Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty.” This photo is a nice depiction of the lyrics of this song. In case you missed the episode when Sheldon teaches Penny how to sing it for him, you can watch it here.
Disney, with their Facebook profile, is one of the companies that consistently has at least one post that tops the 'most liked’ photo each week. This time, it is a photo of the elephant calf Dumbo with an interesting fact as a caption – Dumbo is the only title character in a Disney animated film who never speaks. I don’t know about you, but we didn’t know that.
Last week one of the photos that made it to our list of best brand photos was from Victoria’s Secret’s new campaign, Angel Fantasies. This week is more focused on the female audience because David Beckham has posted a photo on his Facebook page. With almost 22 million fans, this has been liked over 200,000 times. This is nearly 4 times more than the Victoria’s Secret angel.
George Takei is an American actor and author – many of you know him for his portrayal of Hikaru Sulu in the TV series, Star Trek. His Facebook Page has nearly 3 million fans, which makes it the least liked Facebook Page from this list of posts. However, with almost 200 thousand likes of this photo depicting an old woman with the caption: "Grandmother, doesn’t have Facebook, still remembers your birthday,” has created more engagement than most of the photos on this list.
Do you know why you should be posting videos to Facebook?
