Each week, we bring you a selection of the most interesting / liked / engaging photos and posts you might have seen on Facebook from the previous week. Each time we slightly change the criteria of the search. This time, we are going to show you the most liked and, at the same time, the most interesting and inspiring Facebook posts from American celebrities. So here they are. We hope you enjoy them as much as we did!
Christmas will be here in less than a month. Shopping malls are full of Christmas deals, people are decorating their houses with Christmas wreaths and lightings and the Christmassy atmosphere is all around us. Even the White House didn’t stay idle with these preparations and we could see that from a Facebook photo from Michelle Obama – the First Lady of the United States. In this scenic photo, we can see Michelle with Sasha, Malia and Bo welcoming the White House’s Christmas tree. Are you also displaying such a beautiful tree for Christmas? Let us know in the comments.
This photo, on the other hand, comes from an unofficial Facebook Fan page of Sheldon Cooper – one of the most successful unofficial Facebook Pages. It shows a picture from the TV series, The Big Bang Theory. Considering the nature of the photo, we don’t think there is any need for further explanation. Just amuse yourselves.
Another photo on our list comes from the official page of an American singer, songwriter, dancer and actor – Usher Raymond IV. In this inspiring photo, we see him with a butterfly sitting on his hand. We don’t know how about you, but this photo is really inspiring and we have a feeling that there is a deeper meaning to it. What do you think? Is it a highly emotional and profound photo, or an utter attempt to receive more likes? Let us know in the comments.
Here is another inspirational post from our list. It was posted from an official Facebook Page of Mary Jane Blige – an American singer, songwriter and record producer. “Don’t let someone who gave up on their dreams talk you out of yours.” As much as these motivational posts may not seem popular, this one from Mary received over 100 thousand likes with over 20 thousand shares, quite a success considering the size of Mary’s fan base.
This photo is a bit controversial. It depicts a scene that is not so often seen – John Cena, an American professional wrestler and actor, kissing a woman instead of remorselessly crushing his opponents. No wonder this photo received so many likes – it’s just not one of those photos you have a chance to see everyday.
As you all probably know, last week was the celebration of Thanksgiving Day. Many celebrities, and also brands, have taken advantage of social media to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. The majority of posts were simple texts reading, “Happy Thanksgiving”, so we have chosen this wish from Will Smith, an American actor, producer and rapper, taking a little time to think of something different. We found it really good and also a bit funny and maybe because of that, this single text post received over 222 thousand likes. We hope you enjoyed Thanksgiving as much as we did. How did you celebrate Thanksgiving, if at all? Let us know in the comments.
Sticking to the Thanksgiving theme is this post. I think that none of us could have celebrated Thanksgiving better than Jake Owen – an American country music artist. His wife Lacey has given him probably the best Thanksgiving gift he could have ever dreamed of – they welcomed their first child, Olive Pearl Owen. He used his official Facebook page to show his happy face with his new addition to the family and received an incredible 106,999 likes, which alone wouldn’t be so stunning, however, considering the size of his fan base, it created almost 30% engagement rate. That’s some great social media success! We are taking this chance to congratulate Jake and Lacey and wish them and their daughter only the best.
Last but not least is a post from Vin Diesel, an American actor, writer, director, and producer, best known for his role of Dominic Toretto in the Fast and Furious movie series. It is a backstage photo of the Furious 6 movie production with an interesting caption, saying that what is coming at us with the sixth series of the Fast & Furious movies will be legendary. The only thing we can do now is just wait for the release date. Are you looking forward to the new movie? Let us know in the comments.
The last photo from our list comes again from Usher. It is a photo of him holding the AMA (American Music Awards) trophy for the “Favorite Male Artist” in the Soul/R&B category. He used his Facebook page to thank everyone who voted for him and the reaction has been very positive, resulting in almost 100 thousand likes.
