At Socialbakers, we prepared interesting statistics of the fastest growing pages and media companies on Facebook. Since fan growth is only one of the criterions important to look at, we decided to examine what drives the growth of these pages and what they are doing right. All Facebook statistics are prepared using Socialbakers Engagement Analytics.
Table 1: Top 10 Facebook Pages by Total Number of fan Increase in the last 30 days
It is evident, that the rapid monthly growth of these pages is caused mainly due to their strong brand. Top 100 Facebook pages by number of fans post on average 48 posts per month. In the Table 1, six of the pages post above average, nevertheless almost all of them receive huge number of likes, which drives Engagement Rate as well.

Top 100 media pages by number of fans post on average 74 posts per month. From the Table 2 it is visible that pages with the most fans are not the fastest growing. Media pages on Facebook, which grow the fastest in fact post way more than the average. Constant intake of information on the Facebook wall is what drives the attention of growing number of fans.
